REVIEW: THE GREATEST SHOWMAN Introduction The movie The Greatest Showman released in 2017 was directed by Michael Gracey and starred the renowned actor Hugh Jackman, the youth actor Zac Efron, the star of Disney Zendaya, among others. The real story is based on P. T. Barnum, founder of the animal circus Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, who have had problems throughout his career to use exotic animals in his presentations. The film was written by Michael Arndt, Jenny Bicks and Bill Condon. The original soundtrack of the film was written and composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the latter was the one who made the soundtrack for La La Land.
